Choose the material by how many days the event lasts

The usual mistake is choosing the wristband on price alone, then finding on day two that half the attendees are wearing a broken one or have passed it on to someone else. The practical rule is simple: for a single day and large volumes, synthetic paper such as Tyvek, water-resistant, with an adhesive closure that breaks when removed; for two or three days or repeated entry, vinyl or fabric with a sliding clasp; for an audience likely to keep it as a souvenir, silicone or woven fabric.

For access control, numbering or a unique QR code that can be scanned with a mobile is enough. If your entry or bar payment system works with NFC, the fabric wristband can have the chip integrated into the band: tell us which system you use when you ask for a quote. At conferences and trade fairs, it helps to separate profiles with one colour per level (attendee, speaker, staff, press) on the same design, so people can be identified at a glance on the door. Wristbands are part of the door kit in event merchandise, together with lanyards and ID holders in the same corporate colour.

Not every wristband is handed out at an entry checkpoint. A custom wristband also works as a medium for an internal campaign: sports challenges and charity runs, safety programmes on site, anniversaries or social cause campaigns. Here, silicone or woven fabric is the logical material, because nobody keeps a Tyvek wristband that breaks when removed, and the message goes on the band itself, engraved or woven, rather than printed on top. They are quick to hand out and still visible weeks later.

They work harder when they are not used on their own: staff in custom T-shirts in the same colour, the wristband for the audience, and a QR on the band linking to the campaign page. If sustainability matters in the purchase, recycled fabric and long-lasting silicone fit better than single-use plastic with the rest of your eco-friendly merchandise.

What we need from you for the quote

These wristbands are not in the online catalogue: they are made to order. With the details below, we will send you the quote and mock-up within 24 working hours.

• Quantity and batches: how many wristbands in total and how many of each colour or profile (attendee, staff, press, event day). The minimum quantity depends on the material and fastening: we will confirm it with the quote.
• Material and fastening: Tyvek, vinyl, fabric, silicone or NFC. If you are unsure, tell us how many days the event lasts and we will recommend one.
• Branding: logo and text, band colour and, if you need it, sequential numbering, barcode or a unique QR on each wristband.
• Size: for silicone, adult or child.
• Logo: in vector format (SVG, AI or PDF); if you only have it in PNG or JPG, we will check it. On a 19 mm band, a clean logo works best, with few colours and no fine gradients.
• Event date and delivery address: your office or the event venue, to one address or several, across the EU.

How it works

   Quote and mock-up

   Within 24 working hours, you receive the quote and a mock-up of the wristband with your logo, using the size and colours that work within the width of the band. This is also when colour batches and numbering are agreed.

   Approval and payment

   You approve the mock-up and pay. Nothing goes into production before that point.

   Production

   Each material has its own technique: repeat printing on Tyvek and vinyl, sublimation or jacquard on fabric, moulding for silicone. The usual lead time is two or three weeks from approval; silicone, because a mould has to be made, plus bespoke band colour and the NFC chip, need more time.

   Delivery

   Tracked delivery to your office or the event venue, to one address or split across locations, throughout the EU. It is best for them to arrive a few days before setup: tell us the event date from the start.
