PremiumMade-to-order calendars, not catalogue items
A branded calendar is not something you pick off a shelf: it is printed for you, with your design, your dates and the format you need. That is why it is not in the online catalogue and is produced to order. To prepare your quote, we need to know the format, quantity, the date you want to receive it, your logo and, if you have them, the images and custom dates you want to include.
What you can order directly from the catalogue are the diaries shown on this page, with your logo on the cover. Calendars and diaries work well together: the first stays visible on the wall or desk, while the second goes to every meeting. If you are looking for diaries, you can find them all in branded diaries for companies.
Which calendar format to choose
| Format | Where it is used | What can be customised |
|---|---|---|
| Magnetic calendar | Office or home fridge, workshop, metal door | Logo, colours and key dates on a single panel |
| Desk calendar with spiral binding and stand | Client desk or each team member's desk | Logo and one image per month; bank holidays and company dates |
| Monthly wall calendar | Offices, receptions and shops | Logo, your own photographs and one page per month |
| Single-panel wall calendar | Workshops, warehouses and shared spaces | The whole year visible at a glance, with your dates marked |
The unit price depends on the format, paper and print run, and it comes down as quantities increase.
Details worth deciding
- Matt or gloss paper. Matt lets you write on it with a biro; gloss makes photographs stand out.
- Space for notes. Large boxes for each day turn the calendar into a working tool, not just decoration.
- Binding. Spiral binding at the top for the wall version and a rigid stand for the desk version, so it does not bend with use.
- First day of the week. In Europe, Monday is standard; confirm it if you also distribute outside the European Union.
- Size. A large wall calendar is easier to read from a distance, which makes a difference in a reception area or workshop.
What you can customise
- Design and branding. Logo, brand colours and typography, with subtle branding so people actually want to hang the calendar up.
- Images. Your own photographs (product, team, premises) or illustrations, one per month or one for the whole year.
- Your own dates. Closures, conventions, anniversaries or launches built into the design.
- Bank holidays and language by country. One version per country or office, with its own bank holidays and language, based on the same core design.
- Start month. Twelve months from January or from the month your financial year starts.

When to order business calendars
Business calendars are nearly always given out in the last weeks of the year, which is exactly when printers are busiest. The sensible approach is to confirm the format and quantity in early autumn, approve the artwork with at least a month to spare and receive them before year-end shipments begin.
If the calendar is part of a Christmas gift for clients or staff, it helps to line up both timelines. Hampers and gift sets are handled by Pekata as a separate service: Christmas hampers and gift sets. If you are late for a dated calendar, an undated diary is an alternative that does not expire.
Typical mistakes
- Using the bank holidays of just one country for your whole workforce. If you have offices in several countries, ask for one version per country.
- Sending low-resolution images: on a wall calendar, each image is printed large and it shows.
- Putting the logo large on every page. A small, consistent brand mark is acceptable for twelve months; a poster advert is not.
- Choosing a wall calendar for open-plan offices with no free wall space. In that case, a desk or magnetic calendar works better, and you can also order separate branded magnets.
