A warm extra layer for almost the whole year

Branded gilets cover the torso, leave the arms free and go over whatever each person is already wearing, so you do not need to change the rest of the uniform when the temperature drops. They are a piece of custom corporate clothing that people also wear outside work if the branding is discreet: a 7-9 cm embroidery on the left chest looks like everyday wear; a 30 cm logo across the back does not.

There are four main types: the padded bodywarmer, with a lightweight polyester or nylon outer and wadding fill; the sleeveless softshell, windproof and water-repellent; the sleeveless fleece, with an anti-pill finish; and the knitted gilet, for customer-facing roles with a smarter dress code. Types of gilet and who each one suits

Branding on a gilet: what works

The price on each item page includes branding in one colour in the standard position. A different technique, more colours or a second position is included in the quote.

• Left chest, 7 to 9 cm: the everyday position, embroidered on padded, fleece and knitted styles.
• Upper back, 25 to 30 cm: for trade fair or event teams, in transfer or screen print. Embroidery at that size is heavy and distorts the gilet.
• Softshell and membrane fabrics: transfer or heat transfer vinyl. An embroidery needle pierces the membrane and reduces protection against wind and water.
• Padded styles: the logo needs a flat area between the quilted seams. Check the branding area on the item page; you will see it positioned in the mock-up.
• No sleeves means no sleeve position: if you want a second branding area, use the upper back or a small position near the hem.

Typical mistakes when ordering gilets

• Ordering the usual size. A gilet goes over another garment: if your team will wear it over a sweatshirt, check the size chart for that model. Size splits are optional when you request a quote and can be confirmed later.
• Choosing light colours for outdoor work. They get dirty quickly; navy, black or dark grey hold up better through the season.
• Confusing a promotional reflective gilet with PPE. It works for events and for making the team visible, but it does not replace certified hi-vis clothing required for some roles.

What they are used for and what to pair them with

The most common uses are for field and sales teams getting in and out of the car all day, stand staff at trade fairs, an end-of-year gift for employees and welcome packs. At trade fairs and conferences, personalised gilets identify the team without making anyone get changed, because they go over whatever each person is already wearing; they fit well with the rest of your event merchandise.

How to order gilets

   Quote

   Choose the model, colour and quantity, and upload your logo in vector format (SVG, AI or PDF); if you only have PNG or JPG, we will check it. Your quote arrives within 24 working hours.

2. 2

   Mock-up

   You see the gilet with your logo positioned on it free of charge, at the right size and in the chosen colour. Nothing goes into production until you approve it.

3. 3

   Production

   You pay when you approve the mock-up. We embroider or apply the transfer to the approved model; two or three weeks is typical, depending on the technique and quantity.

4. 4

   Delivery

   Tracked delivery to one address or several sites, across the EU. If the branding does not match the approved mock-up, we will remake it at no cost.
